A development of the original Turán, replacing the 40mm gun with a short-barrelled 75mm model, the Turán II also sported increased frontal armour, as part of an effort to provide a more capable tank to deal with Soviet threats. While listed by the Hungarians as a heavy tank, by the time of its introduction the Turán II was really more akin to the medium tanks of other nations, but was still capable of destroying the Russian T-34 at close ranges. The Turán II can be very dangerous when well commanded, and is a great option for Hungarian Armoured Platoons that expect to face enemy tanks!
